Andrews Air Force Base
Active duty and retired personnel were able to drive near the flight line and photograph the aircraft.
These photos were taken from about 1978 through the 1980s before the Navy side of the field and the Air Force side merged to become Joint Base Andrews in 2009.

Naval Air Facility Washington
Located on the far side of Andrews Air Force Base, the Naval side of the airfield provided escorted visits each Saturday afternoon of transient aircraft on the flight line in the late 1970s/early 1980s. Considered one base today, it is called Joint Base Andrews. These photos were taken between 1979 & 1982, 27 years before the creation of the joint base and are, therefore, in their own separate album.
