Paducah, Kentucky

Paducah built and re-built engines during the "age of steam."

The city's history is depicted in these murals painted on the flood barrier along the river bank. All murals are painted by volunteers. Grandpa Roy had wanted to photograph all of them, but there was not enough time as they had to be at his sister's home in Cumberland City, Tennessee, in only a couple hours.

Paducah lies banks of the Ohio and Tennessee Rivers that meet in this part of Kentucky.
