February-March 2023 Trip

Once the private club and winter homes (called cottages) of wealthy American families, the state of Georgia bought the island in 1947 using eminent domain as the members were very much behind in their taxes.
Albums are in approximate order of visitation.

Photos are, for the most part, in the order visited. The Tree Spirits album took 2 days to find the carvings.
Various historic sites are open only certain days of the week, and not all on the same days.
