Ripley's Believe It or Not museum. Ripley tried to purchase this large St. Augustine home but was unsuccessful. After his death it finally was obtained and is used today as a museum, the first Ripley's to open anywhere.

A home made from a single piece of tree trunk. Though inside it was small, it was adequate for the original user. It had a sitting area, bed room, small stove and sink, and more.
Grandma Bert poses on the grounds of Ripley's museum. The day your parents were there it was Halloween weekend and children, as well as parents, were in costumes for a parade through the old town. In the old town they would trick or treat from the shopkeepers.
