Germany had planned on occupying Britain rapidly after its blitz raids on England. The Royal Air Force prevented Hitler's dream of the invasion from ever happening.

St. Paul's Cathedral was so imortant to British morale that Germany tried relentlessy to bomb and destroy it. Although it suffered some damage, Germany was unable to destroy St. Paul's.
