Discontinued

It is with regret that the conference list has been discontinued.

I began this list probably 12 years go. It was popular with linguists, and I thank both those hundreds a week who perused the list and those many dozens who contributed to it. You all helped keep it going.

The past 18 months saw a brief, but major increase in my freelance translation business. Those jobs, plus personal obligations of home and family, meant that I have been unable to update the list for many months. It is now woefully out-of-date and too much of a burden to even consider, as my home and family obligations have expanded even further.

Again, thank you to both those of you who contributed and those who used the list. I was happy to have been able to help.

The on-line, Amazon-affiliated bookshoppe remains, especially for Russian linguists. I hope to update both very soon.
